I work with ruminant livestock operations of all types throughout the United States to help them combine management and nutrition in order to maximize their productivity. A Bit About Me
I grew up on a small farm in Southwest Ohio where I fell in love with agriculture at a young age. That love grew into me raising sheep with my family for over 35 years. I received a B.S. in Animal Science from Wilmington College and a M.S. in Ruminant Nutrition from Michigan State University. My family and I raise and show Southdown sheep and run a freezer meat business. I love all things fall and when not working, you can find me hanging out with family at sheep events or giving wagon and carriage rides with my family's draft horses.
I have been able to combine my passion, education and over 15 years of animal nutrition experience to consult as a Small Ruminant Nutritionist. I work with many types of livestock operations throughout the U.S. ranging from 2 animals to 10,000 animals across beef, sheep, goat and deer farms. You will also find me working with manufacturers to help improve current products and develop new ones to fit their customer's needs.
